Is there anyone out there who has had some expierience with Paris Rhone dynastarts.
I have taken the d/start to the auto electrician on three seperate occassions,without success.It spins but will not produce enough power [torque]to turn the engine.

Peter,
First verify all electrical contacts from (in good condition)battery to the "Dynastart" via contact switch (pressed by the foot). If an only one is not perfect you will get the described result.
If the "Dynastart" is still failing ask our (not secret) agent for United Kingdom or Amicale Salmson's representative in Belgium (himself owner of a Val 3 série 7).
My "Dynastart" has been fixed in Begium twenty years ago by the previous owner. This is the reason why I have no address.
"Dynastart" or dynamoteur have been studied in manies articles ("La Vie de l'Auto" N° 89/01 and 94/668 to 671 for example)
I think that some body ol the Amicale Salmson's "bureau" will give you the two personal data mentionned in my answer.
