can anyone help me?? how many teeth should there be on the starter motor bendix on an M type engine? Thankyou Harry

Hallo,
the starter on my M engine installed in a G type tourer has 13 teeth and works
correctly. But I have problems at the moment with another M engine on which the
13 teeth thing does block the whole thing - but this one has been modified so
the teethed ring on the flywheel might not be correct for 13 teeth ....
