Je relève ce texte sur "prewarcars" où apparait cette voiture équipée d'un moteur Salmson en 1916. Cela vous dit quelque chose ?
While cleaning the attic the mother of Michael Frost found a certificate of a 1916 two-seater Kennedy sports car that was bought by Michael's grandfather in the middle of World War I. The car is presumably long gone, so we have only the purchase certificate which tells us that licence number AY 4450 was issued on January 24th 1916 (click main pic!). At that time Michaels grandfather was in the Army in Belgium and fighting overseas would surely have made it difficult for him to do the paperwork unless a third party bought it with his money. We had not heard of the Kennedy before, and when we started looking we found there were four in the US, one in Canada en two in Britain. As the certificate was issued in Leicester we think we can be pretty sure that this must have been for one of the cars made by Kennedy-Skipton & Co. Ltd., also from Leicester, who was in business from 1914-1916 and produced a 11.9 hp light car powered by a 4-cylinder Salmon engine. But that's all we found. Can anybody tell us more of this company? Are there any Kennedy's remaining? And wouldn't it be great to see a photograph of one?

C'est pas grave, ça ne change rien, les moteurs Salmon(s) ne semblent pas exister . Faut pas croire tout ce qui est écrit ...Même en anglais ...

Ne pas oublier que aux Etats Unis il a ete fabriqué des Tracteurs Samson avant 1920

Les correcteurs d'orthographe débridés remplacent souvent un peu rapidement Salmson par salmon, salisson ou encore... salon !
