Depanoto had not the right size brake cylinders and I could not find another company who could supply a suitable solutions. This month I found the right specialist who could overhaul the original brake cylinders with stainless steel sleeves. Thanks AL1 for sharing your lubrication experience with the Cotal gearbox. Did you heard of the horror story that when you don’t use the Cotal gearbox for a period of time, the oil pump has difficulties with pumping the oil and as a result the gearbox is ready for a costly restoration? I’ am searching for parts what are missing at my 1950 S4E Berline. I’ am searching for the stylistic Salmson “”mascot”” at the front of the radiator, what is not present at my S4E. In the centre of the bonnet is a chrome strip what is connected on both ends with a bracket at the body of the car. I'am missing the bracket at the back of the chrome strip. (other side of the radiator)
